Jesse was a senior in college studying to become a doctor when he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Narcolepsy is a chronic, neurologic sleep disorder, and people living with the condition are at increased risk of developing cardiovascular (CV) and cardiometabolic (CM) comorbidities. New expert consensus recommendations provide more clarity on these risks, including obesity, diabetes, dyslipidemia as well as hypertension and offer actionable behavioral, therapeutic, and dietary strategies that aim to holistically mitigate these risks.
